THE COMPANY
The Lindner Group is Europe’s leading supplier – manufacturer and service provider – for the interior fit-out, building envelopes and insulation. We are a true family business with a deep unterstanding for „Building New Solutions“, the development and implementation of custom-fit and advanced yet flexible project solutions and room concepts.
And we do this in all service phases: from the initial idea, through the design and planning process, to the execution and assembly as well as the subsequent service – for new buildings, renovation and refurbishment.
Over the last decades, we have developed into a technically strong and reliable partner with a solid economic basis. With sustainable concepts such as Cradle to Cradle Certified®, low-emission products and well thought-out room concepts, we want to create Add.Vantage – for your project, for people and for the environment.
As service provider and employer, we put people first which is what the customer notices too: We enjoy our work, are convinced of what we do and proud of what we can do.
With a workforce of more than 7,500, we operate numerous production facilities and subsidiary companies in more than 20 countries from our main offices in Arnstorf, Germany.
The first contract of Akustikbau Lindner GmbH more than 50 years ago, a suspended acoustic ceiling at the Agricultural Vocational School Deggendorf, was the starting point for a diversified global company. Since then, our company and its portfolio have continuously and sustainably grown.
Today, the Lindner Group is a leading company for the building envelope, interior fit-out and insulation. We advise, develop, produce and implement products and projects for our customers - from single-trade jobs to turnkey solutions, for new buildings and renovations.
So everything at Lindner’s is about construction, right?
Well, the Hans Lindner Foundation has launched numerous social initiatives and institutions since 1990, such as a Multi-generation Home for 250 residents. Hans Lindner’s dream of brewing his own beer in the Castle Mariakirchen has developed into a group of Hotels with several home breweries and organic products form our farm.

50 YEARS OF LINDNER
50 years of Lindner. The journey of a company
"For success you need skill, hard work and luck.“
In 2015, the Lindner Group, together with clients, partners, employees and companions, embarked on a journey through 50 successful years since its foundation.
En route a book came into being, which likewise illuminates the company's eventful development over decades and looks ahead into its possible future.
Embedded into a travel guide for a round trip to some of the most important projects across the globe, all Lindner corporate divisions and locations are being introduced. For this, many of the long-time employees have been given the opportunity to tell their share of the unique story.

SUSTAINABILITY
Born from the responsibility for future generations.
Hans Lindner founded the company Akustikbau Lindner Gmbh in Arnstorf, his place of birth, in 1965. To this day, the family business has its headquarters in the Lower Bavarian market town.
Meanwhile, the group of companies employs a good 7,500 employees who supervise and handle construction projects of all kinds at numerous locations throughout the world and also supply the appropriate products.
Sustainablity has always been an important key factor for Lindner’s development: whether you have a look at the choice of locations and production facilities, long-term employee loyalty, cooperative customer relationships and, of course, in the development of our resource-saving products.
Being a family-owned business, we consider it as our duty to create something that will last, to handel our environment with care and to focus on the health of people and nature in the future.
This principle now applies far beyond our activities in the construction industry and is also lived in the other business divisions of the Lindner Group, in our foundation work, our own hotel group, the house breweries and in sustainable agriculture and forestry.
We work together on a daily basis to achieve this and are implementing an extensive package of measures at company level.
We have complied some of these measures as examples in our Add.Vantage modules and recorded them in our visions of a waste-free, CO2-neutral production. All measures are controlled by means of management systems for qualilty, environment and energy as well as life cycle assessment.
We are a founding and presidiuim member of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB e.V.), part of the board in the Institue for Environment and Construction (Institute für Umwelt und Bauen e. V.) and a member of the U. S. Green Building Council.

Our customers have a very clear vision about what their project should look like. We offer competent support from the very beginning, in a transparent and cooperative relation that seeks to create the best possible building quality. There are no limits to architectural ideas.
CONSULTING/RESEARCH
Through a holistic approach, we ensure an early integration of various aspects of sustainability, from resource-saving, recyclable products to tests of material health and the implementation of demands in regard of building physics and the corresponding legal requirements.
PROJECT PLANNING
Carefulness, team spirit as well as innovative products and concepts lead the way for quick success. For an impressive result that delivers what it promises.
PRODUCTION
We develop and manufacture our own products. Thus, the systems for ceiling, floor, partition and doors are optimally matched to each other, but they can just as easily be used individually.
PROJECT CONTROL/INSTALLATION
Who would be better at installing Lindner products than ourselves? We will be glad to take care of the entire implementation: starting at the clearance of harmful substances in existing buildings to the fitout with tested products in combination with a safe installation process done by trained experts.
FACILITY MANAGEMENT
We consider the demands of Facility Management in the early planning stage and offer you competent service even after the works have been handed over, from maintenance and inspection to classic caretaker work.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
As a part of our integrated quality management, we guarantee regular tests and initiate optimisation processes if the need arises. In this way, our customers always profit from best quality and the conformity with all relevant aspects with regard to sustainability.
