For more than 30 years we have been operating in the field of designing, manufacturing, and selling air handling, ventilation, heat recovery units for the residential, commercial, industrial, chemical, and pharmaceutical sectors.

Cetra was founded at the end of the 1970s in a small industrial building of 300 m² where, using the knowledge acquired in previous experiences in the air conditioning market, the first AHUs were constructed for the local market.
In the mid-1980s one of the founders patented the technical solution that the entire sector knows today as the three-way joint, the turning point that allowed modular AHUs to be built from then on.
During the same period initial relations were established with the largest companies in the sector (Carrier, Marelli), which allowed the company in the following decades to become one of the leading companies in Italy in the air handling sector and to enter the international market.
Entry into the Galletti Group reinforces the company’s growth as a result of the extensive synergies with the other companies of the Group that make cross-disciplinary expertise and technological solutions available.
Together with this important evolution, Cetra preserves the typical values of a family company that believes in work performed in the traditional manner, which is a guarantee of high quality.
Today Cetra, within the Galletti Group monitors the air handling market for the residential sector and for the service sector with a large and complete range of products that possess Eurovent certification.
The air handling units are supplied complete with adjustment, thereby allowing the customer the possibility of combining them with all the products of the Galletti Group.< br/> The company has developed important technical expertise in specific sectors such as the pharmaceutical, food, and hospital sectors.
Within the new production facility in Altedo (BO), Cetra presents a sheet-metal working department, an extensive production line comprised of six different areas, each of which is dedicated to a specific sector, and a complete testing line of all the units.
Cetra is faithful to the Galletti Group’s philosophy of managing in house all the phases of the production process and is now acknowledged by the market as one of the most flexible and dynamic companies in air handling and able to satisfy the specific requirements of their stakeholders, which is confirmed by the introduction of the rooftop type air-air package self-contained air conditioning unit in the Cetra products catalogue.

APPLICATIONS
These are air handling units designed to guarantee the maximum seal of the high efficiency filtering sections, paying particular attention to the positioning of the ventilation sections, which include the applications with drying rotor and process/regeneration unit, for strictly maintaining the parameters of temperature and ambient humidity, which guarantee the sterility and purity conditions required by the chemical companies and pharmaceutical companies.
There is no real guideline for the components to be used; the design and the choice of each individual section is made taking into consideration the installation and the design features of the rooms and the rooms to be treated.
CHEMICAL AND PHARMACEUTICAL SECTOR UNIT
Designed to guarantee the maximum seal of the high efficiency filtering sections, paying particular attention to the positioning of the ventilation sections, which include the applications with drying wheels and process/regeneration unit, for strictly maintaining the parameters of temperature and ambient humidity.
These are air handling units whose structure is free of internal protrusions and all of whose internal components can be accessed and removed for extreme ease in washing and draining the AHU in question.
FANS
The use of plug fans is preferred, because their voluteless operation guarantees ease of maintenance and cleaning. A feature of these fans is their powder coating, which guarantees the protection of the component
COILS
Made of pre-painted copper/aluminium or with pipes and fins made entirely out of stainless steel, which guarantee greater resistance during the sanitizing cycles that are frequent in this sector.
FILTERATION
Filters are used that have an efficiency class of no less than F9; absolute filters with an efficiency class of H13 are especially recommended and often obligatory, installed on the part under pressure from the air handling unit.
Designed to be used in applications for the food industry, suitable for the ventilation for clean rooms, meat processing facilities, and other facilities intended for similar activities.
They are designed to guarantee maximum conditions of internal sanitization; their particular property is ease of cleaning and the ability to sanitize every section, especially the condensate drip trays and undertrays/containers for draining sanitizing fluids, with double inclinations and drains.
AHU with aluminium frame, the main components that characterize the construction of these products are made of AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel.

FANS

Especially recommended is the possibility of using the dual fan for both the outlet section and the intake section, which guarantees redundancy of 50% to 100%.
FILTERATION
Filters are used that have an efficiency class of no less than F9; absolute filters with an efficiency class of H13 are especially recommended and often obligatory, installed on the part under pressure from the air handling unit.
The air handling unit can be supplied complete with adjustment.
HOSPITAL SECTOR UNITS
They are designed to guarantee maximum conditions of internal sanitization; their particular property is ease of cleaning and the ability to sanitize every section, especially the condensate drip trays and undertrays/containers for draining sanitizing fluids, with double inclinations and drains.
Designed to guarantee the maximum life of the components (which are otherwise subject to rapid wear, because they are exposed to condensate from the evaporation of chlorinated water) paying particular attention to paint and anti-corrosion treatments, as well as the use of specially selected coils and fans.
It is necessary that these air handling units produce dry air that is able to dehumidify the swimming pool, which is fundamentally important for preventing structural damage to the building; the conditions of well-being for swimming pool users should not be underestimated.

RECUPERATOR
High efficiency heat recuperators that have had a treatment for swimming pool air are used. The design and choice of the other components is made taking into consideration the installation and the design features of the rooms and the rooms to be treated.
