CasaDesús was founded in 1973 by Jaime Casadesús. Today, it is a family owned Company guided by a spirit of avant-garde design committed to quality, innovation, functionality of all its products.
Even though we focus on producing contemporary designs, we hold on to traditional craftsmanship due to our extensive experience. At CasaDesús, the entire production process is carried out internally and we employ an exhaustive control of quality and offer personalized products.
Attentive to minimal details, we aspire for perfection and find a way into the lifestyles filling the most welcoming homes of today a recognizable CasaDesús lifestyle.
CasaDesús collaborates closely with renowned designers from Italy and Spain such as: Giancarlo Vegni, Gianfranco Gualtierotti, Ximo Roca, Marcus Ferreira and Carles Ferruz. From these relationships, ideas, products, collections and finishes are born.
This allows us to work both nationally and internationally, positioning and making our brand recognizable worldwide.
DESIGNER
JAIME CASADESÚS
Jaime Casadesús Cabrero was born on June 10th 1936 in Barcelona, Spain. He took mechanics at the Industrial School in Barcelona, and for quite a few years he worked in the automotive industry. His first steps in the field of industrial furniture design go back to Guilleumas S.A., where he designed and developed a large amount of solid wood items, both for the home and contract.
DAVID CASADESÚS
David Casadesus was born in 1971 in Barcelona, Spain, where he currently lives and works. He graduated in Industrial Engineering in Barcelona, after which he immediately designed and oversaw the construction of a brand new manufacturing plant which was to become the headquarters of CYCSA-Casadesus sofás in 1999.
GIANCARLO VEGNI
Giancarlo Vegni graduated at Art Istitute in 1968. From 1968 to 1975 works as internal designer for Ferretti Cucine. And from 1975 starts close partnership with several companies of diversified products in Italy and abroad, including: Effeti Cucine, Edra, Fasem International, Seven, Giovannetti, Casadesús.
GIANFRANCO GUALTIEROTTI
Born in Rome. Move to Pistoia where attend to the technical high school Pacinotti.In 1967 starts its designer job at Permaflex group where co-operate to the researches about expanded polyurethane use for furniture and upholsteries.
CARLES & MARC FERRUZ
He studied interior design at the Escuela Llotja of Barcelona. In 1979 he co-establishes Atri, a company dedicated to interior design and sale of furniture. Under his current company Quadruple, Inc.
XIMO ROCA
ADCV (Asociación de Diseñadores de la Cumunidad Valenciana), BEDA ( The Bureau of European Design Associations) and ADP (Asociación de Dissenyadors Professionals) member. Professor at the Designing School of the University “Cardenal Herrera” CEU.
