TECNO is a company located and registered in Itlay and is one of the main players in the elevation industry. It is present in Italy with the headquarters and a structurethat ensures sales and technical assistance for what concerbs the installation of elevators, escalators and moving walksways in new buildings
As well as maintenance and modernization of existing solutions, with a widespread coverage on the whole Italian territory. The company operates worldwide - with cusotmers in 49 countries - with direct relations, through its subsidiary companies, partners and distributors. TECNO's approach is to provide a wide range of products and services, with a total focus on its customers needs.
PHILOSOPHY
VALUE AND PHILOSOPHY
Since when I was a kid, I have always been interested in sailing. Dealing with the sea and the wind, I have learnt to never stop and to choose the "right side".
The sailing regatta taught me never to give up, to be confident and to trust in my team and partners. It taught me to respect opponents being fair towards them. This philosophy has always been the foundation.
On which I have built my working experience in the last 40 years and it has greatly helped me to achieve goals and success. The trust my customers place in me encourages me to go on working with enthusiasm and dedication.

DETAILS
ESCALATORS
Escalators and moving walkways represent the main reference point in nowadays’ collective transport and a tool for conveying the users within buildings depending on the business and sole transport requirements while optimizing people’s movement flows. Businesses in fact enjoy the benefits of the use of escalators and moving walkways in terms of increase in the flow of customers.
As these products ensure an evenly spread turnout to all floors by means of an optimum conveying of users and an uninterrupted high carrying capacity. All these benefits together mean better economic results for retail stores. Low power consumption solutions Tecno’s products are proposed with continuous operation at stable speed, from start to stop.
Alternatively, any escalator or moving walkways from TECNO can be equipped with: stand-by control, through VVVF dual speed control. The unit runs at standard working speed and reduces it in absence of users, allowing a lower energy consumption, with a reduction of peak consumption up to 52% compared to conventional motors and a reduction in wear of components.
Automatic motor start/stop control, which can be regulated by platforms, photoelectric cells or integrated opto-electronic devices (radar) to detect the approaching user and starting the unit. The length of the time interval from the last user to the stopping of the unit can be customized according to the client’s needs.
LIGHT LINE ESCALATORS - TLL
The TECNO TLL escalator has been developed based on our experience in the field over the last three decades. It is equipped with a handrail without exposed supporting profiles and the base of the balustrade, the baseboard and the comb platforms are in stainless steel; the colourless tempered glass balustrade (10 mm thick) completes the look of the installation.This product is offered to those who require advanced technology combined with style and design.
ESCALATORS FOR PUBLIC USE THD
The TECNO THD escalator was designed for applications that require particular sturdiness and safety under intense traffic conditions and thus conforming to the parameters of the standard on public service.
MOVING WALKS
TECNO Moving Walkways are produced in an extremely hi-tech industrial production unit dedicated exclusively to this product line. With its amazing output of more than 1500 units per year, TECNO is one of the leaders in this field. The excellence of the materials and the quality control systems applied in the industrial process guarantee high quality, low running costs and long life of the product. TECNO starting from the planning level, is available to cooperate with the project management to find the best choice about functional, aesthetical and economical solutions.
MOVING WALKS - TAW & TAW2
The TAW moving walkway combines all the advantages of the escalator by adding the advantage of being able to carry the shopping or luggage trolleys.
ELEVATORS
Tecno elevators are particular due to the wide range of solutions offered to the market that allow the company to fit the most suitable installationsaccordingtotheCustomer’s specific structural and operational requirements. TECNO’s R&D area has over the years tested, experimented and improved constructive solutions and innovative materials for customizing the cars with the objective to propose the highest quality elevators, having certified sturdiness and top design. From a functional item used for the transport of people, elevators have become a growing architectural features for the enhancement of one’s image: in shopping centres, banks, large hotels and in prestigious offices, the elevator is often the stand-out item that makes a real difference.
TECNO combines freight elevators, which require a specific production line, to the general category of elevators. These products - that require specific characteristics of sturdiness both for the car and entire facility - are specially designed by the R&D area to ensure maximum strength and reliability.
In particular TECNO freight elevators - whose doors offer the maximum possible opening space in order to ease the loading/unloading of goods - have been designed with a particular type of horizontal sliding closure system that always allows to have the same opening dimension both for the doors and the car even with reduced hoistways size.

Hydraulically actuated elevators, operated through an hydraulic control unit located in a machine room or metal cabinet, ensure safety and reliability.
