With a long experience in the building industry, the idea of undertaking production by taking over a disused company began in the early 90’s. Today Ferro-Met, founded in 1994, holds an important place as one of the leading worldwide distributors and producers of props, scaffolding and equipment for building industry.
Initially, the processed steel was 4 thousand tons a year. Now the annual production has reached 18 thousand tons and it will grow, since the factory has a potential of 30 thousand tons of steel processed per year.
25 years of experience in the building industry and the continuous search for the finest raw material for a superior-quality product are the key points of Ferro-Met. The dedication to the construction industry does not stop at the realization of the products: the manufacturing company boasts a developed distribution network of construction equipment in Italy and in the world.

SERVICES
DESIGN & PLANNING
Construction products and scaffolds are designed in collaboration with engineers and construction experts. The design department has also patented a revolutionary anti-skidding system of the inner tube from the external one, suitable for any type of prop.
PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION AS A SERVICE
Part of the production takes place through collaborations with Companies selected for their quality and professionalism. The Ferro – Met sales network is widespread and is developed in Italy and in 60 countries worldwide, in Africa, America, Oceania and throughout Europe.
LOGISTICS & TRANSPORT
Thanks to profitable partnerships with the best shippers, the Company offers a road transport service throughout Europe, but has also signed agreements with maritime shipping companies to export beyond territorial boundaries, satisfying customer requests.
CERTIFICATES
The range of Ferro-Met products is designed to combine maximum safety for the operator with maximum ease of use. All product tests comply with current product regulations (such as EN 12810 for parapets and EN 1065 for props), and in agreement with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. As well as the Italian ones, Ferro-Met is in possession of the TUM certifications (German Certificate); VIK (Croatian Certificate) and all authorizations required by the European Union. These certifications are obtained from authorized institutions in the various Countries.
PRODUCTION
SCAFFOLDS AND PROPS PRODUCTION
Ferro-Met is one of the few companies in the building industry that begins the production starting directly from metal sheet and transforming it into welded tubes that will become props, scaffolds and other construction equipment. Starting from the wire rod, the spacers are obtained. The company is also a distributor of products supplied by leading European or Italian companies.
These include panels, wooden beams, plastic products and accessories. In addition, it uses an automatic line for the production of welded tubed composed of the latest machinery:
- Tube mill to produce welded tubes
- Automatic and semi-automatic welding robots & Automatic cutters
- Rolling mill to transform wire rod into a ribbon/ tape
- Presses for printing metal components
- Drills and lathes with numerical control & Automatic drilling machines
- Immersion painting tanks
