Pyramis Metallourgia A.E. is a Greek multinational company that produces and trades integrated kitchen and bathroom solutions. It was founded in 1959 and is based in Thessaloniki, in a privately owned area of 286.000 m² of industrial real estate, while, more than 30.000 m² are covered and used as manufacturing facilities, warehousing & administration.
PYRAMIS is among the top leading companies of stainless steel sinks producers with production capacity of more than 1,500,000 sinks annually and export activities that cover almost 97% of its production.
Simply following its legacy and vision, and utilizing the company’s long-term experience, Pyramis added to the group production facilities a new contemporary production plant of granite sinks. The new factory, which is located in an industrial area in Northern Greece, represents an initial investment of more than €1,000,000 and its initial annually production capacity can exceed 40,000 sinks.
Combining high quality materials, advanced research capabilities and the most technologically advanced machinery, PYRAMIS is expanding its range offer with a wider assortment of granite sinks.
The company's mission is to develop and provide integrated solutions for the kitchen and bathroom, which are characterized by high quality, functional design, added value and services offered by a company with a human face, showing respect for the environment. The company’s core principal is the passion for perfection; the persistence and optimism.

HISTORY
1959 : Alexandros Bakatselos, President of Pyramis Metallourgia A.E., opened a small workshop specializing in metal-framed furniture. The total area covered was 110m².
1962 : The “small” workshop specializing in metal-Framed furniture, is Growing and covers a total area of 4,500m².
1968 : Alexandros Bakatselos, founds Pyramis Metallourgia A.E. and starts the production of Stainless Steel Sinks.
1969 :First export shipment is dispatched. Destination: Italy.
1972 : The company moves to its current 286,000m² location, just outside Thessaloniki.
1977 : A new production Line is added to produce Stainless Steel Cookware.
1990 : Exports increase by 75,5%.
1997 : A new production line of “monoblock” sinks was installed In 1997.
2007 : Investment plan of more than €42 million in automation and robotics. Founding of 9 sub-sidiaries and international pre-sence in more than 65 countries.
2009 : Celebration of its 50th anniversary.
2011 : Investments of more than €1 million in a new automatic polyurethane injection system. Awarded by ICAP as one of the "Strongest Companies in Greece".
2014 : New factory in Kilkis producing granite & synthetic sinks.

TECHNOLOGY AND AUTOMATION
The "Pyramis manufacturing process" incorporates technology, automation, and high production capacity. It includes a wide range of production equipment including presses, laser machines, welding robots and automatic welding and folding machines.
All machinery is maintained in excellent condition to ensure continuous and consistent production. Automation in combination with our highly skilled employees provide for an annual production volume of more than 1,500,000 sinks, while our intelligent logistics system meets the total needs of our customers worldwide.
