PROFILE
KALON is an interesting and young Italian industrial reality that in a few years from its inception is revolutionating the concept of pellet stove both for the technological and productive pluses and for the careful design.
The Mencarini famil y h as a long experience in the field of heating:It started in the 1950’s with a commercial activity aimed at the sale to which in the 1970’s are flanked the investments on the market of LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) that one they consolidated in the late the 1990’s with the opening of the new headquarters.
That spread over a total area of over 50.000 square meters.In 2013, in Tarquinia, KALON was born: 6000 square meters dedicated to offices, showroom, produc tion pl ant wi th research and development, technical office and a laboratory equipped with the most modern tools.
OUR MISSION
The word KALON, which derives from the Greek and means “beautiful” expresses fully the company’s mission according to the search for formal b eauty and aesthetics moves in unison with the dignity of practical behaviors for which the concept of beautiful can not ignore from the concept of good.
Every day we work and we strive to live up to this strong link between “beautiful and good” that inspires our action and guides all our choices.Design for us means that the aesthetic qualities of our stoves are an integral part of their usefulness, because everything that becomes part of the dail y life of people inevitabl y concerns also their psychophysical well-b eing and can improve the Quality of their lives.
We work by putting the person at the center and as a result enormous is our commitment to the planet and its safeguard.Putting people first means to offer a beautiful product, that works well, with a minimum environmental impact and also and above all a product to measure user, that is able to respond to many different needs.

DESIGNERS
LORENZO DAMIANI
Born in 1972, graduated in Architecture from the Milan Polytechnic. He deals with furniture and product design and has collaborated with several companies including Caimi Brevetti, Campeggi, Cappellini, Ceramica Flaminia, Da a, IB Rubinetti, Illy Caffè, Lavazza, Luce di Carrara, Montina, Nodus, Ikea.
The Triennale Design Museum dedicated the personal exhibition “But Where Are the Inventors? Lorenzo Damiani” curated by Marco Romanelli and “Try to Take Me”, curated by Silvana Annicchiarico. The Achille Castiglioni Foundation hosted the monographic exhibition: “Lorenzo Damiani: Senza Stile”, curated by Giovanna Castiglioni.
ODOARDO FIORAVANTI
graduated in Industrial Design at the Faculty of Design of the Milan Polytechnic. Since 1998 he has been dealing with industrial design, also experimenting with graphics and exhibition design, with the desire to bring the various disciplines back to a continuous matter. His projects have received prestigious international awards.
He has been a teacherand lecturer at numerous schools and universities such as the Polytechnic of Milan, the IUAV of Treviso, the University of San Marino, the Istituto Marangoni, the Polytechnic School of Design, the Domus Academy, HEAD Genève. His works have been part of several international exhibitions, culminating in 2010 with a personal exhibition entitled “Industrious Design” at the Triennale Design Museum in Milan.
ANGELETTIRUZZA DESIGN
Silvana Angeletti and Daniele Ruzza design essential objects, capable of existing over time and capable of relating to environments and people. They are industrial designers since 1994, when Guzzini put their zazà coffee maker into production, still in the catalog.
They have collaborated with numerous Italian industrial realities in the sectors of furniture, lighting, furnishing pushing contamination and experimentation in different areas. But always within a dialogue with the project interlocutors. The aesthetics of their products comes from the synthesis of function, attention to detail and knowledge of production techniques.
DIANA GIUSEPPE
He completed his interior architecture studies in 1992 in Milan. After several professional experiences that led him to travel in Italy and abroad, he opened his professional studio in 2007 dealing with interior design, industrial design and conscious design.
He draws up numerous interior projects from the private villa to the top shop or restaurant. It is proposed as a business accelerator in which in the function of art director and promoter of a wide-ranging strategic design. It combines experience in technologies, materials and a strong aesthetic sense with the necessary business strategies. His collaborations include several international companies.
STUDIO ADOLINI
Was born from the collaboration between Romano Adolini and Niccolò Adolini. deals with architecture and design operating in different areas, thanks to the union of the two owners.
Romano Adolini, graduated in architecture from the ” La Sapienza ‘university in Rome in 1982, immediately deals with architectural issues, particularly in the lower Viterbo area, where…he was born and lives. The architectural works created by the Adolini studio are residential, industrial and recovery of monuments and interior architecture.
