KRAIBURG Relastec GmbH & Co. KG takes in about 85,000 tons of recycled raw materials and turns this into high quality products.
We supply the international market with ready-to-install products for acoustic and vibration insulation (DAMTEC®), impact protection (EUROFLEX®), structural protection (KRAITEC®). anti-slip mats for securing loads (KARGOTEC®), sports floor coverings and elastic layers (SPORTEC®) as well as elastic flooring systems for horse farms and riding facilities (KOMFORTEX®).
Modern technology and constant product development recommend us as a qualified partner for architects, planning engineers and system providers.

In a long line of rubber recycling companies, KRAIBURG Relastec is one of the most important world-wide. Based firmly on technology that has evolved continuously over the last 40 years, KRAIBURG Relastec uses recycled rubber to manufacture new products for the building industry, playgrounds and sporting facilities, taking an active part in protecting the environment and conserving natural resources.

KRAIBURG RELASTEC IS A PART OF KRAIBURG HOLDING
Since 1947 KRAIBURG has been known as a well-reputed company in the Rubber Business and has been establishing itself by a wide product-range, by specialisation, by high-quality compounds and future-oriented developments as an irreplaceable partner for all rubber-processing branches.
The KRAIBURG Holding SE & Co. KG , located in Waldkraiburg/Oberbayern, leads about 2400 employees in 8 branch works and 10 sales offices all over the world with a turnover of approx. 540Mio. EURO in 2020.
HISTORY
1991-2003
- 1991: Establishment of KRAIBURG RELASTEC GmbH.
- 1994: Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9002 and In 1997 Launch of SPORTEC® product line.
- 1999: KRAIBURG RELASTEC presents its 4 product lines to the market: DAMTEC®, EUROFLEX®, KRAITEC® and SPORTEC®.
- 2000: The cornerstone is laid for the construction of a new manufacturing and warehousing complex.
- 2001: The second production plant for EUROFLEX® is established.
- 2003: Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001; Sales and Marketing move to Tittmoning
2005-2011
- 2005: yet a third plant for EUROFLEX®; KRAIBURG RELASTEC is distinguished as “finalist for the grand prize for medium-sized industries”; Georg Stockhammer (CEO) is awarded the second prize for “Company of the year – 2005”
- 2006: Winner of the OSKAR Award for medium-sized companies; Winner of the “Wirtschaftspreis Altmark”
- 2007: A new manufacturing plant for DAMTEC®; Expansion of EUROFLEX® production line; New production facility; Winner of the award “Investor of the year 2007”
- 2011: Winner of the award „HIDDEN CHAMPION 2011″
2012-2015
- 2012: Construction and completion of new administration building; Winner of the award “Investor of the year 2012”
- 2013: Rebranding of Gummiwerk KRAIBURG RELASTEC GmbH to KRAIBURG Relastec GmbH & Co. KG
- 2014: Winner of the “Wirtschaftspreis Altmark”
- 2015: Visit of Minister Möllring – Minister of Economy and Science of Saxony- Anhalt; Certification audit “Energy”– ISO 50001; Visit of Secretary of State Dr. Tamara Zieschang ; Investments amounting to 4 Mio. EUR,e. g. capacity expansion of pressing machine “Insulation”, Mixer, 10 press tonnes, excavator, silos warehouse (production June– completion 12.10.15); Award “Großer Preis des Mittelstandes”: „Premier-Finalist“, 07.11.15 in Berlin
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
RECYCLING OF 85.000T OLD TYRES
Every year, we process and recycle about 85,000 tons of old tyres, closed-cell rubber and rubber production scrap.
FULLY RECYCLABLE PRODUCTS
All products are fully recyclable and are returned to the production process without any loss of quality.
CO2 SAVINGS
In Germany alone, 400,000 tonnes of CO2 can be saved annually by using used tyre granulates instead of new rubber materials.
ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY PRODUCTION
We invest in innovative and environmentally friendly production methods and technologies. There is a PV system on our administration building.
CONTROL OF SUPPLIERS
Our suppliers are subject to constant monitoring with regard to environmental protection.
ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY WAY OF WORKING
All employees of KRAIBURG Relastec undertake to implement sustainable practices in their daily work and to protect the environment wherever they can.
REVIEW OF THE PRODUCTS AND FURTHER DEVELOPMENT
Our products are subject to continuous quality testing and further development, whereby environmental concerns are given priority. We are always on the lookout for even more environmentally friendly alternatives that enable us to further reduce emissions and protect resources.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AS A MAIN STRATEGIC TASK
We are convinced that sustainable growth is only achievable, if we meet our responsibilities towards the environment. KRAIBURG Relastec has therefore adopted a very simple policy: Protecting the environment is part and parcel of what we do every day!
