HISTORY
1982
Pete Rana launched his own manufacturing business and shaped the way the shortwave infrared heating industry is today.
1985
Tansun teamed up with Philips to create the first infrared industrial heater.
1992
Tansun once again partnered with Philips to develop the HeLen Gold Lamp.
1994
When the channel tunnel was being built, Tansun infrared heaters were used during the build to keep the workers warm.
2003
Tansun were exporting to over 50 countries worldwide and Pete Rana was recognised for his success and was awarded an MBE by her Majesty the Queen.
2011
Tansun worked in collaboration with Osram and developed the first dual low-glare heater.
2012
Tansun celebrated their 30th year of success.
2015
Tansun launched a range of groundbreaking ultra efficient no glare ceramic heaters called the Eclipse.
2018
Tansun launched the extra long version of the highly popular ultra low glare Monaco heater range called the Monaco XL.
2020
Tansun gains prestigious ISO 9001 certification.
