HISTORY
1947
AGB was founded by Mr. Antonio Alban, who started to produce hinges for heavy steel gates and accessories for wooden doors by following his father's Giacomo footsteps.
1953
From the home workshop, Antonio moves to a small plant and his brother Mr. Giorgio Alban starts to cooperate with him in the administrative and commercial area.
1968
The dimensions of the business have been growing up and the Alban brothers decide to move the seat to Romano d'Ezzelino where Alban Giacomo SpA takes place.
1980/1990
Conquest of Italian and foreign markets: AGB gains bigger market share becoming a leader company in the hardware for windows and doors in many countries.
2000
AGB opens the warehouse in Cassola (Italy), a highly computerised store for faster delivery of goods.
2005
AGB opens the cylinder plant in Pove del Grappa (Italy), a high tech department dedicated to the production of high security cylinders.
2008
Giacomo and Alessandra Alban, with the same passion of their father Giorgio and their uncle Antonio, undertake the general management of the company, ensuring the continuity of an extraordinary entrepreneurial history.
2005/2012
AGB opens 4 commercial branches abroad: AGB SL Logroño (Spain), AGB Ital-centar (Serbia), AGB EST Pltd (Bulgaria), AGB China.
2015
AGB expands its plant in Cassola (Italy).
2019
AGB opens the fourth production plant in Pove del Grappa (Italy).
